Eine Gruppenausstellung zur Sichtbarkeit von Carearbeit

"Jeden Tag, ob zu Hause, auf der Arbeit oder in unserer Freizeit, wird sich um uns gekümmert. Besonders FLINTA*-Personen, also Frauen, Lesben, inter-, nicht-binäre, trans und agender Personen üben diese Sorgearbeit aus. Die Gruppenausstellung 

 bringt verschiedene Aspekte von Carearbeit aus der Perspektive von FLINTA*-Künstler*innen zusammen und setzt sich künstlerisch mit Fragen rund um Fürsorge, Sichtbarkeit und gesell­schaftliche Wertschätzung auseinander. Die Kunstwerke bieten sehr persönliche Einblicke und erzählen emotionale Geschichten von der Pflege um sich selbst bei Schicksalsschlägen, von Mutterschaft, vom Kümmern um Angehörige und Freund*innen sowie von der Bedeutung des Kümmerns und Pflegens in Kriegsgebieten. 

 soll einen Raum schaffen, der zu Empathie und Reflexion über die häufig übersehene Last der Verantwortung anregt."

"Every day, whether at home, at work or in our free time, we are looked after. FLINTA* people in particular, i.e. women, lesbians, inter-, non-binary, trans and agender people, carry out this care work. The group exhibition 

 brings together various aspects of care work from the perspective of FLINTA* artists and artistically explores issues relating to care, visibility and social appreciation. The artworks offer very personal insights and tell emotional stories of caring for oneself during strokes of fate, of motherhood, of caring for relatives and friends and of the importance of caring and nursing in war zones. 

 aims to create a space that encourages empathy and reflection on the often overlooked burden of responsibility."
